伊邪那岐と伊邪那美
Izanagi and Izanami
The divine couple who created the land
in Japanese mythology
天の御柱 Pillar of Heaven
天の御柱は時間軸 伊邪那岐は左方向
に回ることで過去向きに回り、伊邪那
美は右方向時計回りで、未来を向いて
いる この時点で時間は静止している
ところが伊邪那美が声を先に出したの
で、時間は未来方向に流れ出した 未
来はまだ形の無いあの世世界である
結果ヒルコが生まれた 次に男神
伊邪那岐が先に声をかけた 左は過去
の方角であり祖先の方角である 遺伝
的継承を表している
The Pillar of Heaven is the axis of time.
Izanagi rotates to the left, facing the past,
while Izanami rotates clockwise to the
right, facing the future. At this point, time
is still. However, because Izanami spoke
first, time began to flow toward the future.
The future is the formless afterlife. As a
result, Hiruko was born. Next, the male
god Izanagi spoke first. Left is the
direction of the past and the direction of
ancestors, representing genetic
inheritance.
昔、私の郷里では土葬が行われていた
墓地に着くと棺を7回半左回りに回した
7は霊数である 死後の世界に到着し、
さらに半回転することで死後の世界に
入場したことを表す この儀式が終わる
と棺は埋葬された 丁度黄泉の国の内
と外で伊邪那岐と伊邪那美が対面した
様に、伊邪那美の方に入ると死後の世界
に入った事を意味する
In the past, burial was practiced in my
hometown.
Upon arriving at the cemetery, the coffin
was rotated seven and a half times
counterclockwise.
Seven is a spiritual number; it represents
arrival in the afterlife, and another half
rotation signifies entry into the afterlife.
After this ritual was completed, the coffin
was buried. Just as Izanagi and Izanami
faced each other inside and outside the
underworld, entering the side of Izanami
signifies entering the afterlife.
